Good Morning everyone! Today's Friday, and I'm happy because the weekend is almost here. Lately I've been finding myself very sleepy in the mornings. I guess I need to go to bed earlier. I'll try that next week. As of now I'm at work. Yeah I know I should be working but.... it'd Friday and around here Fridays are kinda laid back. Now since it's Friday, is anyone doing anything exciting tonight? Or maybe this weekend. It doesn't matter where you are in the world, if your doing something fun just Email me, I would love to know what's going on in your world. Until then, speak to ya later!

Book of the Week: The Secret
I believe everyone should buy this book. It's a phenomenal read. It's about believing that whatever you put-out into the world, will come back to you in full. It's also about manifesting your destiny, meaning: receive everything you want in life threw persistent thought, positive energy, and determination. I want everyone to purchase The Secret today.
Poem of the Week: Phenomenal Women
Good Morning Everyone! I pray you all woke up feeling productive today. I want to share a poem that's dear to my heart. I know a lot of you have heard it before, but for those of you who haven't, today's your lucky day. I hope you all come to luv it as much as I do. This weeks poem is called Phenomenal Women, by Maya Angelou. Enjoy!
<"Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size, But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms, The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman, Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. I walk into a room, Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or, Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say, It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I'm a woman, Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Men themselves have wondered, What they see in me. They try so much, But they can't touch, My inner mystery. When I try to show them, They say they still can't see. I say, It's in the arch of my back, The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I'm a woman, Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Now you understand, Just why my head's not bowed. I don't shout or jump about, Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing, It ought to make you proud. I say, It's in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care, 'Cause I'm a woman, Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me."

Have you ever been on a Hell Date?
I think I'd be right if I said, 75% of all men & women over 25, have been on some form of a horrible date. It seems to be inevitable. Now B.E.T has a dating reality show called "Hell Date". Where unsuspecting daters get nothing they expected. It's one of the funniest reality show on B.E.T this season. So my assignment for you guys today is to describe the worst date you've ever been on. Just give me a couple of sentences on what happened. So While you guys share yours, I'd like to share mine. The worst date I've ever been on happen about a year ago. Me and my date were supposed to go out for a nice dinner and get to no one another (typical first date talk). But I guess his (Baby Mother) had other plans for us. Me and him meet up at Mr. Chows Restaurant in Manhattan, and to our amazement, his (Baby Mother, who I wasn't informed about) was standing in front of the restaurant as we walked up. Once she saw us, all hell broke loose. She went off on him like Ike did Tina lol. I didn't know weather to stay and watch or hale a cab and get the heck outta there, so I did both lol. I was shocked as hell, when it all went down. Thank god I gotta gotta that one safe and sound. I don't know whatever happen to him, But I hope he healed well lol.
Complex? Well... I am.
Here is part of the conversation Complex had with lil Wyane. My question is (Who Care?)
On handling beef himself: “You’d expect me to pay somebody to do it? You supposed to be able to do anything in this world. That’s what Martin Luther King told me. He ain’t never put a specific on what to [do]. He said you can do anything. ‘Kill’ falls under that.”
On his lifestyle: “If I was born behind a desk, boy, you should just have killed me. It’s kind of like a nigga with no dick living in the Playboy mansion.”
On the Clipse: “I thought the whole ‘Mr. Me Too’ video was about me, to tell you the damn truth. They think I want to be like them. I’m on a million-dollar bus going around the world charging people from $50,000 to $150,000 for verses, and I got 77 songs in magazines and I got a billion more. Do the math; you think I’m trying to be like you? No sir.”

Beyonce and company.
Yes I'm a big Beyonce fan (Shut up haters!) lol I sat back and watched the B.E.T Beyonce Experience on Thanksgiving (Like the rest of you) and enjoyed it. I don't know why everyone is always fronting on her. I mean if we didn't have Beyonce and Ms Keys, we'd be forced to listen to Rihanna and Amerie music (lord please no) lol. Here are a few photos of Beyonce and her dancers having a good-ol-time lol.

As I Am song review "Lesson Learned"
I'm in luv with Alica Keys new album "As I am" there's a song called Lesson Learned. As soon as I heard it, I was taken to a place I once dwell (as many others). It an uplifting self motivating song. The lyrics I related most to were,
Life perfect
Ain't perfect
If you don't know what the struggles for
Falling down ain't falling down
If you don't cry when you hit the floor
It's called the past cause I'm getting past
And I ain't nothing like I was before
You ought to see me now
Yes I was burned but I called it a lesson learned
Mistake overturned
So I call it a lesson learned
My soul has returned
So I call it a lesson learned
Another lesson learned Go pick up Alicia Keys "As I am" in stores now!

Little girl holding book of baby animals: The black one!
Mom: The black one? He sure is a cute kitty.
Little girl, loudly: Once you go black, you never go back!
Passing thug, flashing her a thumbs-up: Word!
White mom: I don't care what your father says, we are so moving to Westchester.

Good Day Everyone! I know I haven't posted anything this week, and I'm sorry.
But now I'm back, and I'm going to be changing a few things around here. I remember when I first started this website, all I wanted 2 do was talk about Celebrities. But now I realize, there are more important things 2 talk about, other than Celebrites. So I'm making some minor changes 2 make it my own again. Don't worry it will still be fun, flirtatious, and flattering, but I want it 2 stand out as "MY BLOG, MY DISCOVERY'S, MY WORK". So stay tuned 2 what's about 2 happen! You don't wanta miss it.

Teen Shot By Cops In Brooklyn, NY
A teenager by the name of Khiel Coppin was shot and killed Tuesday night in Brooklyn by police officers. Cops fired 15 to 20 shots at the young boy, who was holding a hairbrush mistaken for a hand gun. Eyewitnesses say the boy’s hairbrush eventually dropped out of his hand, and one officer called on the others to stop shooting, but the attending offices failed to do so. Also after being shot multiple times Khiel Coppin was handcuffed and placed in the Ambulance. Khiel was then taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. This is unbeliveable and needs to stop happing.

Over Heard in NEW YORK!
A favorite website of mine is called "Over Heard In NY". It's a website that's for the public, by the public, and it funny as hell. Within the website people post comments, conversations, and quotes they've over heard in the city. It's so funny, you have to check it out! Below is a posting over heard from a Conductor for the J Train in BK.
Conductor: Attention, passengers, this J Train is now going express to Myrtle. You hear me? Express. Express! There is a local train right behind this one. This train is going express! [Mob of angry passengers exits train.] Psych! This is a local J Train to Manhattan. Next stop: Chauncey. Please enjoy the leg room brought to you by the New York City MTA.

American Gangster Song Review Jay-Z "I know"
As soon as I heard this record, I had to post a Blog. This song immediately touched me. I felt and understood every word spoken. The story that’s being told is about a women’s addiction to “Hov” also know as “Heroin”. It’s an up beat tempo, which at first listen, seemed unlikely for such a deep song, but I then grasped my own meaning of it. That’s what music is all about; expressing what moves you within that particular verse or courses. When I heard the song, I changed the word Hov and Heroin, too Love and Devil. To me these words are very much alike. I took out the word “Heroin” because I believed that, if you put any negative word in its place, it would still have the same effect. Now I’ve never used drugs, but I have been in love, and in its own way, can be an addiction. While listening, my memory went back to a place where love once belonged, but is now clearly lost. It was a time in my life when I was clearly addicted to my own form of heroin and I call it “Love”. It wasn’t that slow Barry White, Marvin Gay; long walks threw the park, kind of love. It was that grieve stricken, heart broken, too in love to leave ya, kind of love. So what I got from the song was my own interpretation of an experience I went threw and over came. I know this post is a little more interment, but I’m speaking to you all on a level that is common for me. I want to express myself, and what better way to do that, then threw my Public Diary. I want you all to go and get the American Gangster Album; it’s a really good listen.
American Gangster Review!
American Gangster premiered Friday night, and everyone (including myself) ran to the theaters to see it. While waiting outside the theater, I watched as everyone talked and waited with anticipation for the movie.
I’d been waiting for this moment for months, and finally it was here. Nothing was going to stop me from seeing it, and better yet, getting a good seat, popcorn, and my lemonade was a must. As everyone piled into the 300+ row theater, I was filled with excitement. This wasn’t just a “movie” to me; it was a “history lesson”. Being from The Bronx, NY, and knowing somewhat about “Frank Lucas's Empire”, and also seeing first-hand what the drug game (good & bad) is all about, I wanted to learn more. The main focus of the movie was about Frank Lucas’s “Drug Operation”. Even though the drugs were a major factor, I wanted to learn more about the man behind the mask. I wanted the producers to go more in depth with the person he was, and grew to be. In the movie I found myself wanting him to over-come, to maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, to achieve greatness. Then I thought to myself, "How could you want such things for a man, who was the ring-leader, in the destruction of millions of lives within the Tri-State area?" But sometimes movies do that to you. They make the bad guy’s look like kings who are smart, witty, warm hearted, and yet cold blooded. Some would call him a noble man amongst chaos, but we call him the "American Gangster". Even though I didn’t get the image of Frank Lucas, I really wanted. I was still very happy with the one I received. This movie was a great reflection of the way drugs and crime have/has affected our society then and still today. So with that said, I recommend that you all take time out of your busy day, and see this movie. In my own way I found it empowering and I know you will also.

My young sisters of today.
What’s going on with young women and love today? It seems like, to be "loved" or to be "in-love", is all we crave. Without it we seem undesirable, incomplete, broken even. So my question today is why is it this way? Why are there so many young women being misinformed when it comes to "love" and being “wanted”? Evidently being “wanted” is more important than being respected. When did we become products to be sold? Selling our body and soul for 30 minutes of unattached, one-sided intimacy is a big price to pay for so called love. Has learning to be desirable become more important then learning life’s lessons? Or more important than growing up healthy and secure with who we are today, and who we will become in the further. Have those morals skipped our generation? Or is it because of the hypocritical view we have on fame and flashing lights? We all want to be liked and desired, but what price will we pay for it?
Fashionable late!
Good Morning everyone, How are you? Sorry I’m a little late with my update today. My work morning has been a little hectic. So how was everyone Halloween? I hope know one got sick from all that candy! Today feels like it going to be a great day. It’s Check Day for me! You know you’re gonna have a good day when it’s check day. Unless your check is a lot less then what you expected… then I’m sorry. So now that you know how I’m doing, send me a comment and let me know how your doing.
