You see your caught in the middle of it; just like a seasaw ! You was telling her that where shes at she don't need to be there anymore! You didnt think she would leave and just upright storm out so now you feel guilty because in reality he really wanted to work it out ! She gave him so many chances and he took her for granted ! She was just fed up and the hurt she couldn't stand it ! She didn't understand it! He took a lot out her and it took a lot out her to stay with him so long! You see hurt and emotions and some thinking lead to regrets! He had a lot of nothing for her and one of those was respect ! She would always tell you that she doesn't know how to leave, because all that she knew was built on the foundation that he led her to believe ! He sold her a dream and in return she purchased faliure !
Breakfast Anyone?
Great Morning Everyone! Why is it a Great Morning you ask? Because, I'm not going to work tomorrow! Today's pay day! And I'm heading home for the weekend! What more could you ask for? (Let me not go there lol) So in other words, I'm feeling excellent. I’m very excited to go home for a number of reasons. One being, I’ll get to see my friends and family. I miss my mom and lil sister soooo much. I don’t get to see them often, so this will be a treat. Two being, I’m going to see a really good friend of mine. We haven’t seen one another since the summer and I’m ecstatic about our meeting. They only thing I’m not excited about is the weather. It’s freezing cold, and it’s supposed to rain which is not a good combination. I guess we'll make the best of it. One thing I promised myself this trip is, I will not rip and run to see everyone I can. Every time I do that, I end up burned out and disappointed. The reason being, I really don’t get to enjoy everyone's time. I’m ripping and running, all the while, not enjoying each moment spent. All I can think of is “who’s next on the list?” I’ve made a conscious decision to enjoy the love ones I can now. This isn’t the last time I’ll be home, so I’ll just have to see them next time. No hard feelings guys. Now in other news… I'm at work, listening to "The Dream" album. I have mixed feeling about this one, but I must say I enjoy a number of songs off this album. This is not the type of album you would nominate for a Grammy, but it's entertaining enough to bop-to at work when bored. I mean something has to get me threw the work day right? It's been fun, yet brife talking to you guys this morning, now let me get back to enjoying our wonderful 70 degrees weather here in Austin, Tx. Great Day Everyone!

Okay, here I go again. I'm sorry but this Brittany guy is just to funny. Here is his imitation of Lil Mama "Lip Gloss"
Throwback " All Falls Down" Kanye West
Okay I had to post this song since I went and made a lyric comment on the post below. I can't say the production of the video was all that great, but the lyrics were real expressive, and listing to this reminds me why we all have fell in love with Kanye in the first place. Enjoy everyone!
This is what heaven must look like!
My Mother told me to call her whenever I feel in love.... Where is the damn phone!!! Oh my god, I will die happy if I could have these! These black goddesses are apart of Gucci's boot collection. These Dahlia High Heel Platform Boot are priced at $1,595.00 (damn, that's alot but... I'd still wear them). They are black leather 4 1/4" High heel platform boot made in Italy. I'd never take them off! lol Call me what you want but like Kanye said Single black female addicted to retail and well.... (Okay not really lol)
My Hand Bag Wish List
I like the design of the bag. It's different in a weird, yet good way. I have these shoes that are the same color, and would go perfectly with it. Now only if I had 4Gs to buy it I'd be good lol. This is a Nancy Gonzalez Crocodile Satchel bag Priced at $3,625.00 found in Neiman Marcus. These are just a few thing on my wish list to buy, for when I become a Millionaire.
Now I'm not a big fan of the color red, but as soon as I saw this bag I fell in love. This is a Leiber Goddess Minaudiere bag, priced at $2,495.00 (Wish List)

This is Brittany (he jacked my name :-() Houston (possible relation to Whitney lol) This guy has been popping up all over You Tube with crazy imitation videos. This is Janet Jackson's new single "Feed Back" I can't lie, he's working it with the dance moves lol. He's moving better than some women I know (sorry Sharren). Also, he's got a lil booty on him "Don't act like ya ain't see it lol" He has a few videos imitating Beyonce which are hilarious. Enjoy this one guys, click the "title above^^^" to see more videos of Brittany.
Glow In The Dark Tour!
Kanye is going on tour with Rihanna, N.E.R.D, and my fav. Lupe Fiasco!
This sounds like a hit to me! Whata ya think? I'm not sure when this will began, but I'm excited as hell. I'm not a big fan of concerts because I hate being in the middle of thousands of fans screaming, jumping, and doing god knows what. But I might have to make an exception for this one. I'll keep you guys posted on when tickets and cites will be posted!

Put You On Game! Lupe Fiasco. (Song Review)
I've been listening to Lupe's album since I brought it a week ago, and I can't stop.
There's a song on there called "Put You On Game", I swear I've listen to this song back to back about 6 times and I can't get enough. when I first heard it, I couldn't figure it out, but the more I listen the more I understand. Once I realized the story-line, I was blown away. I'm a big hip hop/R&B fan and I appreciate when a artist makes music that take you to another world. I like when you have to listen to it a million time just to make sure you understood each phrase. I appreciate that artist who respect us enough to say "I respect my audience, and I not going to talk down to them. I trust that their smart and open minded. There's no need to dumb them down to sell records" I believe Lupe is one of those great, positive, food for thought artist, who respects his audience. So below, are the lyrics to the song for those of you who haven't heard it yet. (The Narrator is "The Hood, The Ghetto, The Trap, The Game" Which ever one you can relate to).
[
The Game: Laughing, smoking] Lemme put you on game [gunshot] Lemme put you on game Don't you know that I run this place, And I've begun this race, Must I rerun this pace? I'm the reason its become this way And their love for it is the reason I have become this praised (lemme put you on game) They love my darkness, I make them heartless, And in return, the have become my martyrs, I've been in the poem of many a poet, And I reside in the art of many a artist (lemme put you on game) Some of your smartest have tried to articulate My whole part in this But they're fruitless in their harvesting' The drow grows from my footsteps I'm the one that they follow, I am the one that they march with (lemme put you on game) Through the back alleys And the black markets, The Oval Offices, Crackhouses and apartments Through the mazes of the queens, The pages of the sages And the Chambers of The Kings (lemme put you on game) Through the veins-es of the fiends, A paper chaser's pager, Yo, I'm famous on the scene One of the oldest, most ancient-est of things Speak every single language on the planet, y'all mean? (lemme put you on game) I am the American dream, The rape of Africa The undying machine, The overpriced medicine, The murderous regime, The tough guy's front, And the one behind the scenes (lemme put you on game) I am the blood of this city, It's gas, water, and electricity, I'm it's gym, and it's math, and it's history, The gunshots in the class And you can't pass if you're missin, G. I taught them better than that I taught them aim for the head And hope they never come back I'm glad your daddy's gone, baby, Hope he never comes back, I hope he's with your mother, With my hustlers high in my trap (lemme put you on game) I hope you die in his trash, I can't help it all I hear when you're crying is laughs I'm sure somebody find you tied up in this bag, Behind the hospital little baby, Crack addicts had (lemme put you on game) Then maybe you can grow up to be a stripper, A welfare-receiving prostitute And gold digger, You can watch on TV, How they should properly depict you, The rivers should flow with liquor, Quench your thirst on my elixirs, (lemme put you on game) I am the safe haven for the rebel runaway and the resistor Ihe trusted misleader, The number one defender, And from a throne of their bones I rule, These fools are my fuel So I make them Cool (lemme put you on game) Baptize them in the water out of Scarface pool, And feed 'em from the table that held Corleone's food, If you die, tell them that you played my game I hope your bullet holes become mouths that say my name, 'Cause I'm the... Staying in a complete positive state of mind, it the healthiest thing on earth (Brittany Davis January 2008)
Promise yourself to be strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
Talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel like there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything, and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living person you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, and too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. This is the optimist Creed! Staying in a complete positive state of mind, it the healthiest thing on earth.

¡. Día maravilloso de hoy del A.!
Today's a Wonderful day! The weather is amazing. I think the world is about to end.... lol. Okay maybe not... but the weather has been bugging out lately. One minute it's 30 below zero and then it's 65 degrease. I mean come on, where's Al Gore when ya need him! Now in other news.... I'm doing well today, but I'm having a little bit of a dilemma. I'm looking for my first car to buy :-) but don't no which kind I want :-( I'm 5'10, so I want something I won't have to climb down into. I also want it to be an automatic with power steering, power windows and locks and be a four door. I want the exterior to be either sliver or black, and have four wheel drive. I also want a sunroof, ac, heat, radio and CD player and have black cloth interior. Anti-lock brakes and air-bags. Now I don't know what model this will be but I do want something younger than I am. So today I'm going to go to a few dealerships and test drive some cars. Hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for. Also if anyone comes upon a car that fits this description, please send me a picture or a link of it to my comment box below! Thanks, and enjoy your day!
One for Clinton… one for Obama… two down… forty-eight to go.
Even though he lost by 4 points to Hillary Clinton, his speech was great. I no I've been posting a lot about the Democratic electoral race, but that's because for the first time in my life, I'm interested in it. I'm 20 years old, and this is the first Presidential election I've be able to participate in. I'm very passionate about what my future holds and how this country will effect it. I'm still not sure who I'm voting for, but I really enjoyed Senator Barack Obama's speech last night. It felt good listening to him and agreeing with him on some very important issues. So for those of you who missed it, here is it. Please click link above (One for Clinton… one for Obama… two down… forty-eight to go.) for the entire speech!
I want to congratulate Senator Clinton on a hard-fought victory here in New Hampshire.
A few weeks ago, no one imagined that we'd have accomplished what we did here tonight. For most of this campaign, we were far behind, and we always knew our climb would be steep. But in record numbers, you came out and spoke up for change. And with your voices and your votes, you made it clear that at this moment – in this election – there is something happening in America.
There is something happening when men and women in Des Moines and Davenport; in Lebanon and Concord come out in the snows of January to wait in lines that stretch block after block because they believe in what this country can be.
There is something happening when Americans who are young in age and in spirit – who have never before participated in politics – turn out in numbers we've never seen because they know in their hearts that this time must be different.
There is something happening when people vote not just for the party they belong to but the hopes they hold in common – that whether we are rich or poor; black or white; Latino or Asian; whether we hail from Iowa or New Hampshire, Nevada or South Carolina, we are ready to take this country in a fundamentally new direction. That is what's happening in America right now. Change is what's happening in America.
You can be the new majority who can lead this nation out of a long political darkness – Democrats, Independents and Republicans who are tired of the division and distraction that has clouded Washington; who know that we can disagree without being disagreeable; who understand that if we mobilize our voices to challenge the money and influence that's stood in our way and challenge ourselves to reach for something better, there's no problem we can't solve – no destiny we cannot fulfill.
Our new American majority can end the outrage of unaffordable, unavailable health care in our time. We can bring doctors and patients; workers and businesses, Democrats and Republicans together; and we can tell the drug and insurance industry that while they'll get a seat at the table, they don't get to buy every chair. Not this time. Not now. Our new majority can end the tax breaks for corporations that ship our jobs overseas and put a middle-class tax cut into the pockets of the working Americans who deserve it.
We can stop sending our children to schools with corridors of shame and start putting them on a pathway to success. We can stop talking about how great teachers are and start rewarding them for their greatness. We can do this with our new majority....

Ron Mueck (born 1958) is an Australian hyperrealist sculptor working in Great Britain (Great Work)
Mueck's early career was as a model maker and puppeteer for children's television and films, notably the film Labyrinth for which he also contributed the voice of Ludo. Mueck moved on to establish his own company in London, making photo-realistic props and animatronics for the advertising industry. Although highly detailed, these props were usually designed to be photographed from one specific angle hiding the mess of construction seen from the other side. Mueck increasingly wanted to produce realistic sculptures which looked perfect from all angles. In 1996 Mueck transitioned to fine art, collaborating with his mother-in-law, Paula Rego , to produce small figures as part of a tableau she was showing at the Hayward Gallery. Rego introduced him to Charles Saatchi who was immediately impressed and started to collect and commission work. This led to the piece which made Mueck's name, Dead Dad, being included in the Sensation show at the Royal Academy the following year. Dead Dad is a rather haunting silicone and mixed media sculpture of the corpse of Mueck's father reduced to about two thirds of its natural scale. It is the only work of Mueck's that uses his own hair for the finished product. Mueck's sculptures faithfully reproduce the minute detail of the human body, but play with scale to produce disconcertingly jarring visual images. His five metre high sculpture Boy 1999 was a feature in the Millennium Dome and later exhibited in the Venice Biennale. In 2002 his sculpture Pregnant Woman was purchased by the National Gallery of Australia for AU$800,000.
The New Hampshire polls
It's still early but Barack Obama and John McCain are in the lead. McCain picked up 4 votes, Mitt Romney 2 votes and Rudy Giuliani 1 vote. On the Democratic side, Obama received 7 votes, John Edwards 2 votes and Bill Richardson 1 vote.
Adding that up - there were 17 votes cast tonight. Yet Dixville Notch town clerk Rick Erwin told ABC News this afternoon that there are only 16 residents of voting age in the town -- three registered Republicans, two Democrats and 12 registered as undeclared.

The Wire Review
Last night The Wire came on. Just when it was about to get good, heavy cloud coverage came over my house, and started messing with the reception. Bullsh** I was so upset. I waited nearly a year for this session, and the weather is th! e reason I won’t see it? Oh hell no! Damn satellite TV! But fortunately, the reception in the bedroom was working. I ended up viewing it after all. I enjoyed it a lot, and there's a new element to the show, The Press. The story line seems to change every year. Here is what I got off the website that is quite informative: The first season of 'The Wire' (2002) concentrated on the often-futile efforts of police to infiltrate a West Baltimore drug ring headed by Avon Barksdale and his lieutenant, Stringer Bell. In Seasons Two and Three, as the Barksdale investigation escalated, new story lines involving pressures on the working class and the city's political leadership were introduced. Season Four focused on the stories of several young boys in the public school system, struggling with problems at home and the lure of the corner - set against the rise of a new drug empire in West Baltimore and a new Mayor in City Hall. The fifth and final season of 'The Wire' centers on the media's role in addressing - or failing to address - the fundamental political, economic and social realities depicted over the course of the series, while also resolving storylines of the numerous characters woven throughout the narrative arc of the show. I look at it and see a lot of the negative and positive things I saw growing up. Things I still see to this day when I travel back home to NYC. I love viewing stories that I or people I no have experienced personally. It gives a voice to those who don’t have one. It puts a wide eye on how the under privilege really live and struggle to survive. It’s not just another cop and drug show, its deeper then that. You forced to feel what they feel. The next episode some on Sunday @ 9pm. Enjoy!
Monday.... What a Bore!
Hey! Hey! Hey! Everybody! How's it going? Today's Monday and.... I hate it lol. Okay I don't hate it, I'm just not a big fan of (work week) Mondays. Even if your a morning person, Mondays can ruin it for you. I woke up upset because I couldn't sleep. I guess drinking Pepsi at 10:30pm wasn't a good idea huh? So I'm at work working on....well....nothing lol. I think there should be a two hour morining extended time for Mondays. 8:30am should turn in to 10:30am. I would like that that alot better. But don't get me wrong, I like my job. I can blog, eat, read and work(code for: Do nothing) all at the same time. So today I'm just going to chill-out and do nothing! Good day everyone! Enjoy!

Sunday Bliss
Hello Everyone! Today is Sunday and it's has been a relaxing day. I woke up around 1pm (slept late) and enjoyed it. I went for a walk through the park today and it felt really good. I miss working out, I haven't done it in months and I need to get back into it. It decreases a lot of stress and even though I don't have any, I still enjoy the release. I spent the whole weekend fixing up my bedroom and had some me time. That's one thing I want to do more of (having me time). It makes me more centered and relaxed. I also went out and purchased some DVD's. I also rented Martin Lawrence's (You So Crazy) stand up. I love that show. Martin is a fool for real lol. So now I'm about to jump in the shower and get ready to watch "The Wire" Good day everyone!
Friday, January 4, 2008
Okay I just got this e-mail and I'm so excited.... The Wire is back on HBO this Sunday night at 9pm. I love this show! If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you need to go to your local DVD store, and ask for the series collection and watch each episode. I bet you'll enjoy it. Each season is better than the last. Stringer Bell is one of the most attractive, dark skin, English man I've ever laid eyes on lol. If you think I'm lying, watch the show and tell me if your not mesmerized by his handsomeness lol It's full of crime, drama, suspense, comedy, but most of all it's believable. I appreciate that factor. The acting is amazing and the story lines are well delivered. It's fun to watch because it gives you a wide-raged look on how a low income urban community, located in Baltimore Marilyn operates. You get to the view point of everyone from the homeless guy who uses drugs, to the Mayor of the state. It's not just another sitcom, or a cop show like NYPD Blue. It's a lot more in dept. You'll have to watch to see exactly what I mean.
When is it time to leave?
When we as young and mature women, find ourselves in monogamist relationships, it’s easy to lose ones-self in order to maintain stability. But when has losing yourself become a good thing? We become rapped up in so many projects, that we lose focus on the most important one (ourselves). So when is it no longer worth the trouble? When is it time to start giving back to yourself? If you wind up accommodating your partner just to prevent fights, rather than having some hope that it’s worth trying to work things out; if your relationship is based on evasiveness, deception, and withholding; if it’s characterized by lack of room for change and growth; or if it just doesn’t seem that your life is better in the relationship than it would be out of it, then it’s time to consider ending it. Getting help is easy. You don’t need to do it alone. Friends can be an excellent source of support and insight. Individual or group therapy can help, too. But if we do not want to leave and things aren’t that bad, ya’ll just need to work out a few minor things, then therapy will work. Sometimes problems are resistant to change and it seems as if talking to our partners and to friends and family gets us nowhere. When we feel that we’ve gone around and around on the same issue with no improvement, we may become completely overwhelmed and feel stuck in patters we can’t change on our won. That’s when we might seek therapy, either as individuals or together. But understand therapy isn’t for the weak, it’s for those who want change and aren’t able to find the answers on their own. Relationships can be difficult sometimes, but knowing what’s healthy and safe for you is what will determine the stability of the relationship.
Women's Health
Those of us who look to men for love, friendship, support, sex, or some combination of the above face unique satisfactions comforts, and joys. We also face unique challenges and questions to which there are no easy answers. How do negotiate safer sex with out male partners? How do we protect ourselves from violence as we try to get to know potential lovers? How do we build long-term relationships that are satisfying and equitable? How do we continue to develop our individuality and personal power while fostering mutual interdependence? How do we balance romance with educational and/or career goals? How do we approach being single-its potential for loneliness as well as its promise of satisfaction- as we navigate multiple possibilities for companionship?
To be single or not to be…. That is the question.
Whether as a temporary interlude or as a life choice, being single can be a deeply rich and satisfying experience. Despite negative messages from family, friends, and/or society. Depending on how we choose to define it for ourselves, being single may mean a lot of things. As in having one or many loves, an occasional casual sexual encounter, a committed relationship without marriage, or no sexual or romantic relationships at all.
Also being single can be difficult, especially if we feel we haven’t chosen single-hood, but rather that it has chosen us, particularly though some trauma, illness, or loss. Many of us were taught from a very young age-either explicitly or implicitly, though family or cultural forces-to find a man with potentially supportive qualities and attach ourselves to him. In this way, we could become complete. Many girls began to face this pressure in middle school, if not before, and notice it increasing through high school. When we are happy and strong on our own, we are better able to choose freely and carefully the men we do become close to. Creating a safe and equal relationship with man can then become a challenge we seek and enjoy out of mutual attraction, admiration, and love.
To me, as a woman, being in a relationship isn’t as important as it is to others. I’m young and at this point I’m learning new things about myself everyday. There are times when I’ll speak to a person and tell them I’m single, and they’ll give me a look and/or say “why? What’s wrong with you?”
Its obvious there’s nothing wrong with me; I’m just enjoying my me-time. I don’t believe being in a relationship is what defines you. I define me. Not to take anything away from those who love being in relationships and seek only that, I’m just happy were I am today. I do believe having an intimate partner can add a lot to life, but by no means do I want it to be my sol life’s purpose. Having friends and family are important to me, and when the time comes for me to make that choice to have a relationship I’ll be prepared.
¡Buen día cada uno! ¡Tener un día bendecido!
Hello everyone! Today is Friday and the work week is almost over. I’m excited because I can finally relax; watch some movies, and most importantly, DO NOTHING. I woke up this morning and wanting nothing more then to go back to sleep. I even tried to conjure up a lie to tell my boss why I wouldn’t be coming in today. Maybe something like…. my tub caught on fire, my fish are drowning, my bird flu away, or I can’t find my red pumps with the sparkle heel and I can’t walk without them… but decided against it (laughing). Don’t judge me, we all have done it. Not wanting to get out of your cozy bed, because it’s freezing outside the covers while screaming (just a few more minutes please). You want to relax and watch corny talk & court shows you never get to see because you work so much. That’s all I wanted today. But instead, I got my butt up and prepared for the day ahead. I guess I’m still exhausted from my trip back home to NYC Tuesday morning. I was there for only four days, but it felt a lot shorter. Every time I go back home, I turn into a “speed zombie”. That’s because I’m always traveling around, seeing all my friends and never get enough sleep. Even though I miss being home, I’m always excited to come back to the quietness of Austin, Texas. Traveling will do that to you. So my objective for today is “get well deserved rest, watch movies, and buy picture frames & curtains for my bedroom”. (What an exciting Friday huh?) TGIF everyone!

Obama takes the lead in Iowa
Barack Obama takes the lead in the Iowa polls. He lead with nine point above John Edwards and ten point a above Hilary Clinton. I'm excited about this years elections. America is in a state of emergency and I'm excited to be apart of the change. Voting is a very important action within our country and as soon as the day comes about, I'll be at the voting booth, with ballot in hand!
Live life in the driver seat!
Today marks a brand new beginning. We all walk into today with memories or yesterday and dreams of tomorrow. With my heart filled with joy and drive, there’s nothing I can’t do. Thinking of life as if it’s a plane, and I’m the only driver, there’s no where I couldn’t go. We're all in control of our destiny. Living life as positive as I can is what I’m doing. There’s no limit to how much greatness I can achieve and share. Today I start my new year with excitement for what’s to come. I’ll miss 2007 but I know what ever happened to me then, got me to 2008. So I’m grateful and thankful for everything I’ve come to receive! Remember to always maintain your identity, and always live life in the driver seat. God Bless! Happy New Year!

New Year and a New Me!
It's a new year and I'm starting it off right! I'm leaving everything negative in 2007 and bringing the positive into 2008. I'm in love with life and I can't live through the negativity of others any longer. I was just in the shower thinking.... Why do I feel drained? Why do I have so much stress on my shoulders? Then I thought about it... all the negative emotions I'm feeling are not from me, they're caused by others. I have absolutely no problems in my life right now, and for a moment I couldn't believe it. I was carrying around the drama of others as if it was my own. After understanding that I realize how to change it. I need to get rid of the people in my life that are negative and focus on the positive. Life is so much easier when you think about it that way. I have had a really good year! I've traveled to Mexico to learn Spanish and met some amazing people. I've made some amazing friendships. I'm starting college this year, I've been in fashion shows, and have had photo shoots. I work for Mircosoft, and will be gettin a car soon. I've party like a rock star and relaxed like a old woman lol, and now I've got my own Blog. 2007 what a great year! I've learned so much about myself and just looking at 2008, I know much more is to come. So I'm walking into tomorrow with my head held high, my shoulders back and nothing but positive thoughts. Here's to yet another wonderful year!
We've made it! It's now 2008 and we all made it here safely. 2007 was a good year for me. I moved to Texas and began a new life, with new friends and new experiences. That was a big transformation for me and I'm so proud of myself. I'm gonna miss 2007, a lot of wonderful things happen to me, and I will remember it forever. I'm thankful I've come into a new year healthy and alive. I've got so many plans to live out in 08 and I’m ready for it. Life is what you make it and I plan on making this year MY YEAR! Good luck to all of you who have made life changing, small, fun, loving, and respectful resolution. Happy New Year Everyone!!!!
