I'm in love with this album, I listen to it almost everyday. Although, it can never be compared to Confession's (which is now classified as a classic) it's still a banger. You can tell how much he's grown threw out the album. Although he didn't write most of the songs, his delivery was on point. Here's my track by track analyses. Love in this Club: I can't lie, when I first heard this song, I wasn't really moved by it. It had to grow on me. I guess I was looking for something more like how I felt when I first heard Confessions and Yeah!. However, I like the beat, it's real smooth and it gives you a nice bouncy feel. The lyrics, are cool. It's really catchy, which is most likely why they made this his first single. Jeezy's verse is cool and Ushers voice is wonder as always. Like it! This Ain't Sex The melody gives it a MJ feel which I like alot. The lyrics are well developed, but I cant say it's one of my favorites. Don't hate it! Trading Places Love IT! This song is hot. The lyrics are crazy (prop's to The Dream)The flow of the song is crazy (gone get it, get it, get it, get it, get it) lol love that part. The way his voice goes so high at the end makes me shiver all over! In other words "He's going in!" (Right A-Lova) LMAO. Moving Mountains OMG This is my song! The Dream worked his magic once again. The lyrics are profound. I was drawn to it as soon as I heard it. The beat fits extremely well, the fast and slow motion, and the high and low pitches are genius. Over all, this is a must listen. Love it! What's your name. Feat Will.I.AM Hate it! Pray for you This is the sweetest thing I've ever heard him sing. It's personal and I respect that more than anything because, he opened up and it's so real! Something Special I get an old school feel from this one. Something I could catch my mother playing on the weekends. Robin Thicke wrote it, and it defiantly has his touch. It's easy on the ears to say the lease. Like it! Love You Gently Love! Love! Love this joint! This song goes hard all the way!!! Raheem DeVaughn! OMG your a musical genius! As soon as it come on, your taken back to when "real" R&B music felt good. The breakdown puts this song in the league of the greats. It's one of the best R&B joints I've heard in a long time. The arraignments, the vocals, and the lyrics are off the wall. The beat omg.... one word... graceful. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Best Thing Feat. Jay-Z I mean, how can you go wrong with "The Great" Jay-z on the track? Love it! Before I met you This is one of my favorites! The words are extremely sentimental, honest and believable. I love the high pitched(YOU) too! Brian Cox did a great job on this one! Love it! His Mistakes Can't you tell Ne-yo wrote this one? He's great at making slow extravagantly emotional songs. Love it! Appetite I like how he gave us a mental picture. The choirs is crazy, the way it's broken down when the beat comes in is amazing. Love it What's a man to do Cant say I'm in love with it, but it's cool. it took me a couple listens to understand the lyrics, but I finally got it. It also gives me a Ne-Yo feel. Nice beat! Lifetime It takes a little to long to come . I like the mellow feel, which makes it real easy to grove to. The lyrics and arrangements give it a real nice old school feel also. Love in the club part two Okay I know some of u might not agree but, when I heard this I felt like it was just thrown together. It was as if not much thought was put into the lyrics. Like somehow Usher ran into Beyonce at the studio, and said "Hey! you wanta do a remix real quick?" and threw lil Wayne on the track just for the hell of it. Now don't get me wrong, I like the song, but I feel like it could have been done better. Here I stand Great Track indeed! I get a Floery, jazz feel from it! I like it alot! It's a great he dedicated it to his wife! Good job. I grade this Album with an A-.
