Why hasn't there been a Black Bachelorette?

For some reason I've been watching the Bachelorette on ABC. If you haven't heard, reality shows have taken over the world, and will lead us into abomination. Whatever happen to writing a scrips and sticking with it? My theory to the mayhem is, with the sky rocketing gas prices, global warming, and the declining economy, people are starting to lose brain cells. Which is why we are subjecting ourselves to such detestable behavior... I miss the good old days. Why hasn't there ever been a Black person to become the Bachelor or the Bachelorette? I'm not in any form a racist, but I can't help but point out the obvious. Also, if a black person ever gets on the show, there off within the first couple of episodes. What's up with that? Some say the Flavor of Love was the "black" Bachelor. Hell No! That show was ghetto, disrespectful to women, degrading, and dramaful, which in return, makes for get TV lmao! But seriously, why can't we get a brake? When will it be our turn America?

I hate to be a jerk, but in the eyes of executives I Love New York served that purpose.

It's messed up, and I actually read an article in the times once about the popularity of the stuff on vh1 and it's a pretty shameful situation
